Job summary

Trinity Health in Minot, ND is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents in a long-term care setting. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor changes in health, and communicate effectively with nursing staff to ensure compassionate, person-centered care.

Under supervision of RNs or LPNs, you will help maintain safety, dignity, and comfort for residents, with emphasis on accurate documentation and collaborative teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Current North Dakota CNA certification required.
• Certification required.
• Clerical training is a plus.
• Previous nursing home experience preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supports residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility while ensuring safety and comfort.
• Observes and reports changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to nursing staff promptly and accurately.
• Assists with restorative and mobility activities, including transfers, ambulation, and proper use of assistive devices.
• Documents care and related observations in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe environment for residents, including assisting with room upkeep and infection control practices.
• Provides emotional support and respectful communication to residents and families, contributing to a positive long term care experience.
