Job summary

Lenbrook Square Foundation Inc. seeks a committed Certified Nursing Assistant to support residents in a long-term care setting. You will ambulate, transfer, turn and reposition residents, make beds daily, monitor vital signs, and ensure clean, organized bedside areas.

Participation in care planning, orientation of new CNAs, and in-service programs is expected. The role requires at least one year in long-term or acute care and CPR certification, with adherence to infection control and safety

Qualifications

• Must have CPR certification.
• Minimum of one year experience in long-term or acute care settings.

Responsibilities

• Ambulate and transfer residents using appropriate devices and body mechanics.
• Turn and reposition residents as needed.
• Make beds daily and change linens per policy.
• Obtain vital signs as directed by the nurse.
• Care for incontinent residents and document episodes.
• Measure and record intake and output; document nourishment intake.
• Keep residents’ bedside areas clean and belongings orderly.
• Assist with care plan development and review with nursing.
• Assist in orientation of new CNAs and perform procedures.
• Participate in in-service programs.
• Practice proper hand-washing techniques and infection control.
• Detect, report, and correct unsafe conditions to the charge nurse.
• Receive shift communications from the charge nurse.
• Execute duties per established routine and emergency responses.
• Observe and report changes in resident condition to the charge nurse.
• Answer call lights promptly.
• Clean equipment after use and return to proper place.
• Monitor residents to ensure needs are met and document accordingly.
• Comply with Corporate Compliance Program and Code of Conduct.
