Job summary

Good Samaritan in Central City, NE is seeking compassionate nursing assistant staff to help residents with daily living activities, hygiene and mobility. You will monitor vital signs, support dining, and document care in the electronic medical record.

Completion of an accredited nursing assistant program is required; we offer a robust benefits package and flexible shifts to fit full-time and part-time roles.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing assistant training program approved by the location and the state.
• Ability to communicate and comprehend; ability to perform assigned tasks and meet requirements for in-services, training and meeting attendance; must be able to use the electronic medical record for documentation.
• Ability to measure and comprehend quantities.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with personal hygiene and daily living needs.
• Provide comfort, transportation and monitor vital signs.
• Assist with meals, dining experiences, transfers, ROM and documentation.
• Handle linens, soiled clothing or supplies; follow PPE and hand-washing policies.
