Job summary

Qualifications

• Current CNA certification in good standing is required.
• Experience in assisted living, memory care, long-term care, or senior living preferred.
• Knowledge of resident care practices, safety protocols, and infection control.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift, transfer, and assist residents as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on ADL assistance including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, transferring, and mobility.
• Assist residents with meals, hydration, and nutritional needs.
• Observe, document, and report changes in resident condition to the nurse or supervisor.
• Administer medications and delegated nursing tasks per RN delegation and policies.
• Follow infection prevention procedures and promote resident rights and dignity.
• Maintain accurate documentation of care and observations.
• Perform light housekeeping and help create a home-like environment.
• Participate in required trainings and staff meetings.
