Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess a current Michigan Certified Nurse Aide certification or have completed a Michigan approved CNA training program and be eligible to test.
• One year of experience in long-term care, hospice, or health care is preferred.
• Strong attention to resident rights, dignity and safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to residents in an environment that respects rights and dignity.
• Assist with grooming, bathing, oral hygiene, feeding, toileting and mobility per care plans.
• Monitor residents, report changes, and document care in PCC as required.
• Support wound care, hygiene, hydration, and nutritional needs per individualized plans.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment; respond to call lights promptly.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members; participate in care planning.
