Select Specialty Hospital in Gainesville, FL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate patient care in a critical illness recovery setting. Day and night shifts are available on a per-diem basis, offering flexible scheduling for dedicated caregivers who want to make a meaningful difference.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent work experience (3+ years).
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Hospital experience as CNA or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Bath patients using basin-less products and assist with oral hygiene and feeding.
• Participate in hourly rounds and monitor patient needs.
• Transport patients to treatment centers and assist with transfers.
• Maintain cleanliness of bedpans, urinals, chairs, and wheelschairs.
• Keep patient rooms clean and orderly; monitor supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
