Job summary

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with satisfactory driving record.
• CNA certification or eligibility as required by state licensure.
• Completion of a recognized home care aide training program or 6 months of recent experience as an aide.
• Must be able to lift and assist patients up to 75 lbs. and perform basic mobility tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist nurses by performing basic care activities.
• Dress, groom, bathe, feed, and record vital signs of patients.
• Answer call lights and assist in toileting, oral/nail care and transfers.
• Take and record temperature, pulse, and respiration rate.
• Gives medications as directed by Physician or Nurse and notes administration.
• Other duties as assigned and as needed.
