Job summary

Altra Homecare Group is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA) to deliver personal care to clients in their homes. You will support activities of daily living, monitor patient comfort, and maintain accurate records.

The role offers a flexible schedule, competitive weekly pay of $14-$16 per hour, overtime and holiday pay, direct deposit, and recognition through caregiver of the month/year awards.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Ability to read, follow written instructions, and document care provided.
• Comply with training requirements as per State and Federal laws (training provided).
• Preferred: Minimum of 1 year of relevant work experience.
• Preferred: CPR certification.
• Preferred: tuberculosis (TB) test.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient laundry when necessary
• Provide medication reminders
• Ensure patient safety
• Report significant changes in the patient's condition directly to their supervisor
• Prepare light meals and assist with patient feeding when required
• Monitor and record patient temperature
• Assist patients with ambulation
• Conduct range of motion exercises and other simple physical activities
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and adhere to care protocols
• Follow privacy policies and infection control guidelines
• Offer bathing assistance
• Perform light housekeeping
• Provide companion services, including letter-writing and reading
