Job summary

Canyon Vista Post Acute in Las Vegas is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care aligned with care plans. You will help residents with hygiene, mobility, meals, and daily activities, while ensuring safety and compassionate support.

The role requires a CNA license, basic reading/writing skills, and a willingness to follow facility procedures. CPR is preferred, and a 10th grade education is the minimum requirement.

Qualifications

• Must possess at least a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with state laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide routine daily nursing care and services per care plan.
• Identify residents using wristband/photo ID before procedures.
• Report changes in resident condition to Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse.
• Record entries accurately on flow sheets and charts.
• Maintain resident safety and comfort; assist with transfers and mobility.
• Assist with meals, hygiene, and personal care.
• Observe for pressure areas and skin breakdown; report injuries.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information; report improper disclosures.
