Job summary

West Delray Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Delray Beach, FL is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate care team. The role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, maintaining safety and cleanliness, and collaborating with nursing staff to monitor health and respond to needs.

Ideal candidates hold a Florida CNA license and have 2+ years in long-term care.

Qualifications

Valid CNA license in the state of Florida.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or related setting preferred.
Patience, tact, cheerful disposition, and enthusiasm; ability to manage residents with maturity and factuality.

Responsibilities

Serve a vital role on our nursing team by acting as our residents' main caregiver, providing support for activities of daily living.
Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, feeding, and mobility needs.
Maintain patient stability by monitoring weight, vitals, and input/output.
Communicate any observations of changes in a resident’s status to the nursing team.
Assist nurses and other medical staff with procedures and treatments as needed.
Ensure resident rooms and living areas are clean, comfortable, and safe.
Support residents’ emotional well-being by providing companionship and social interaction.
Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines.
Respond promptly to resident call lights and requests for assistance.
Document care provided and report any concerns or changes in resident condition.
Perform other job-related duties as required.
