Job summary

The Knolls of Oxford, a BHI Community, seeks a State Tested Nurse Aide to join our compassionate team. You will provide hands-on care, assist with daily living activities, document resident information, and respond to care needs promptly while maintaining dignity and safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• State Tested Nurse Aide license or CNA certificate required.
• Compassionate, team player with passion to work with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Prepares each resident for the day and/or night by assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting, and activities of daily living.
• Obtains resident vital signs and records measurements per policy.
• Documents all required resident information in the medical record.
• Responds to resident call lights and requests for assistance promptly.
• Addresses toileting needs and incontinence per regulations and infection control.
• Provides restorative care and ROM exercises per care plan.
• Pours ice water and nourishments within required time frames.
• Reports unusual symptoms, changes, or injuries to DON or Nursing Supervisor.
• Facilitates meal service and assists with feeding as necessary.
• Stocks supplies and clean nursing equipment per schedule.
• Works Fulltime Day shift (7a-7p), every other weekend and some holidays.
• PRN shifts available day (7a-7p) and night (7p-7a).
