Job summary

The Knolls of Oxford, part of Maple Knoll Communities, Inc., seeks a State Tested Nurse Aide to provide compassionate, hands‑on care for residents across shifts. You will support daily living activities, monitor vital signs, and ensure accurate documentation while delivering quality meals and mobility assistance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• State Tested Nurse Aide license or CNA Certificate.
• Compassionate, team player with a passion to work with the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Prepares each resident for the day/night by assisting with bathing, dressing, toileting, and activities of daily living.
• Obtains resident vital signs per policy and records temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, and weight.
• Documents all required resident information in the medical record.
• Responds to resident call lights and requests for assistance in a timely manner.
• Addresses toileting needs and incontinence in accordance with regulations and infection control.
• Provides restorative care and assists non-ambulatory residents with range of motion exercises.
• Passes fresh ice water and nourishments to residents within required time frames.
• Reports any unusual symptoms, changes, accidents, or injuries to the DON or Nursing Supervisor.
• Facilitates meal service: transport residents to dining room, deliver meals, assist with feeding, and return trays.
• Stocks supplies and cleans nursing equipment (bedpans, wheelchairs) as directed.
