Job summary

Creative Solutions in Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate daily care to residents. The role involves assisting with grooming, bathing, catheter care, pericare, dressing, and ensuring a clean, stocked environment while collaborating with the care team for high-quality service.

Qualifications

• Holds a current Nursing Assistant Certification from the State of Texas.
• Can accurately record information and perform technical procedures.
• Communicates well and demonstrates self-discipline and patience.
• Genuinely cares for the elderly and individuals with disabilities.
• Understands and upholds the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personal Care: assist with grooming, bathing, catheter care, pericare, and dressing, following care policy guidelines.
• Maintain Resident Environment: change linens and ensure grooming supplies are stocked.
• Support Mobility: safely ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices and proper body mechanics.
• Record Vital Information: accurately document vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption.
• Assist with Positioning: turn and reposition residents routinely for comfort and safety.
• Encourage Engagement: lead range of motion exercises and provide reality orientation as directed.
