Job summary

Medford Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Medford Hillside, MA is hiring a Nurse's Aide for day, evening and night shifts. Starting pay is $17–$18.50 per hour with a salary adjustment based on experience and a weekday/weekend differential.

The successful candidate must have MA certification as a Nurse's Aide and at least 1 year of prior experience. Duties include assisting with ambulation, transfers, feeding, hygiene, bed baths, vital signs, and reporting changes to the Charge Nurse, while

Qualifications

• High School Graduate OR Equivalent.
• A minimum of 1 year prior experience.

Responsibilities

• Assists in ambulation and transfers between bed, chair, and wheelchair.
• Assists or feeds residents and provides nourishment.
• Delivers bedpans/urinals and maintains cleanliness.
• Keeps incontinent residents clean and changes linens.
• Performs bed and tub baths, hair and oral hygiene.
• Assists residents to dress and undress; takes vitals as directed.
• Takes part in bowel/bladder rehab; reports changes to the Charge Nurse.
• Records intake/output and notes changes or unusual findings.
