Job summary

Cherokee Park Rehabilitation in Louisville, KY is seeking CNAs to provide compassionate resident care, including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance, while reporting changes to nurses and maintaining safety. Day and night shifts available in a long-term care setting.

We offer a new wage scale, quarterly raises up to 5.5% annually, tuition reimbursement, health/dental/vision, a 401K, shift differentials, DailyPay, and ongoing mentorship for career growth.

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience as a CNA in a long-term care setting is highly preferred.
• Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA

Responsibilities

• Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
• Record patient vital signs, assist with lifting and transporting residents using proper body mechanics.
• Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse manager and clarify when needed.
• Communicate effectively with residents, visitors, families, peers, and supervisors.
• Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
• Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.
