Job summary
Cherokee Park Rehabilitation in Louisville, KY is seeking a CNA to provide compassionate resident care in a long-term care setting. Attend to bathing, feeding, dressing, ambulating, and assist with mobility while maintaining dignity and safety.

Qualifications
- At least one year of experience as a CNA in a long-term care setting is highly preferred.
- Must possess and maintain a current state certification as a CNA.
Responsibilities
- Attend to the individual needs of residents, including bathing, feeding, dressing, and ambulating.
- Record patient vital signs, assist with lifting, moving and transporting residents using proper body mechanics.
- Recognize and report changes in resident conditions to a nurse management. Ask appropriate questions to clarify situations.
- Communicate and interact effectively and tactfully with residents, visitors, families, peers and supervisors.
- Report abnormal changes or patterns to nursing staff.
- Assist the nurse with various duties as directed.
