Qualifications

• Hold a current Nursing Assistant Certification from the State of Texas.
• Ability to accurately record vitals, weights, intake/output, and meal consumption.
• Demonstrates clear communication, self-discipline and patience.
• Cares for the elderly and individuals with disabilities with compassion.
• Upholds the Patient Bill of Rights and Employee Responsibilities.
• Follows all safety policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provide Personal Care: grooming, bathing, pericare, etc., per care policy.
• Maintain Resident Environment: change linens, stock supplies.
• Support Mobility: ambulate and transfer residents using assistive devices.
• Record Vital Information: document vitals, weights, intake/output, meals.
• Assist with Positioning: turn and reposition residents for comfort and safety.
• Encourage Engagement: lead ROM exercises and provide reality orientation.
