Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited high school or GED preferred.
• Must possess an active Certified Nursing Assistant Certification; having successfully completed a State approved training program and necessary examination.
• Must provide documentation of certification upon application for the position.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with bathing, dressing, hygiene, and grooming per Care Plan.
• Provides nursing care following policies to ensure resident safety and well‑being.
• Demonstrates knowledge and techniques for therapeutic, neuro and dementia, dialysis, IV therapy, infectious disease, and wound care when applicable.
• Acts under the Charge Nurse and as part of the inter‑disciplinary team.
• Ensures residents are out of bed per the Care Plan.
• Interacts with residents, families, staff in a supportive, calm manner.
• Performs additional duties as assigned to follow the Care Plan.
