Job summary

The Summit of Citrus Hills, Florida is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, resident-centered care and support under the Wellness Director and shift supervisor. You will contribute to a welcoming, family-like atmosphere while maintaining safety and dignity for residents.

Responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, documenting care, and collaborating with the care team.

Qualifications

• Must hold CNA certification and be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Completion of Resident Assistant skills competency checklist.
• Be in good physical health; lifting, bending, and pushing a medication cart is required.
• Experience in Assisted Living is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal and psychosocial care promoting dignity and individuality.
• Assist with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, hygiene, toileting, eating, mobility).
• Maintain professional demeanor and report any abuse to licensed staff.
• Use safe transfer techniques and coordinate resident transport.
• Document provision of services on company forms.
• Operate basic equipment and communication devices.
• Escort residents and support internal transportation needs.
• Monitor environmental safety and observe changes in condition.
