Job summary

Avalon Health Care Group in Roosevelt, UT is hiring a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support residents at Uintah Basin Rehabilitation and Senior Villa. Pay is $18.00-$23.50 per hour, full-time with on-call options.

We offer benefits such as 401K, medical/dental/vision, FSA, life and disability coverage. Must be a State-certified CNA in good standing, able to read and follow directions in English, and pass background checks.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the State and maintain certification throughout employment with Avalon
• Meet State and federal requirements, generally 12 hours, in-service education
• Must have the ability to read, write and follow oral and written directions in English.
• Recent education or clinical hours are required.
• You need to be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass criminal background investigation, reference inquiry

Responsibilities

• Prioritizing comfort while assisting Residents in achieving their highest level of function
• Assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
• Monitoring vital signs to include temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure
• Maintaining a safe environment and assisting with fall-risk precautions
• Interdepartmental communications within care team
