Job summary

Las Cruces Wellness & Rehabilitation is seeking compassionate nursing assistants to join our day shift team in Las Cruces, NM. This full-time position runs 6am–6pm and involves providing basic nursing care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.

Qualifications

• Must have completed State Approved Nurse Aide Training and be on the State Registry as a Nurse Aide in good standing.
• Ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff; read and write.

Responsibilities

• Assists residents with basic care including bathing, grooming, hygiene, and placement of adaptive equipment.
• Provides nursing report and follows directions from licensed nurse supervisor.
• Keeps residents dry and changes linens; makes beds.
• Participates in daily resident care routines.
