Job summary

Camellia Health and Rehabilitation Center – Mobile, AL is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) for full-time day or night shifts in a skilled nursing/long-term care setting. You will work with nursing staff to assist residents with activities of daily living, monitor vital signs, and support comfort and well-being.

Requirements include active Alabama CNA certification, LTC/rehab experience preferred, strong communication, and willingness to work weekends/holidays.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in Alabama (AL) required.
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehab preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents, including assistance with activities of daily living.
• Assist residents with mobility, transfers, and exercise programs.
• Measure and record vital signs, weight, and other health indicators.
• Observe residents’ physical and emotional condition and report concerns to nursing staff.
• Assist with meals, hydration, and feeding as needed.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment, including making beds and changing linens.
• Assist with resident admissions, discharges, and transfers.
• Document care provided accurately and promptly.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
• Respond promptly to resident call lights and urgent needs.
