Job summary

Santa Cruz Post Acute in Santa Cruz, CA is seeking compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our full-time or part-time care team. You will support residents with daily activities, work closely with nursing staff, and help maintain a safe, respectful environment.

We offer starting pay 23–26/hour DOE, comprehensive benefits, multiple shifts (day/evening/night), and opportunities for training and advancement in a supportive, team-oriented setting.

Qualifications

Active California CNA certification required.
Ability to follow infection control protocols.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting and mobility.
Provide compassionate, resident-centered care promoting independence and dignity.
Monitor and record vital signs, weights and other observations.
Support meal service and ensure proper hydration.
Maintain clean, safe, and organized resident spaces.
Promptly report changes in resident condition to the nursing staff and follow infection control protocols.
Collaborate with the care team on clinical and non-clinical tasks.
