Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the State of Illinois.
• Dependable attendance and ability to work scheduled shifts.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic computer and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and personal hygiene.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Obtain and accurately document vital signs as directed.
• Assist residents during mealtimes and provide feeding assistance when needed.
• Provide companionship, emotional support, and encouragement.
• Observe residents and promptly report changes in condition, behavior, or needs to the nursing team.
• Respond promptly and professionally to resident call lights and requests.
• Assist with changing bed linens, restocking supplies, and other resident care needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable resident environment.
• Follow infection control, safety, confidentiality, and community policies.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, nurses, and other team members
