Job summary

NewCourtland in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a dedicated Nursing Assistant to join our on-site team. You will provide direct patient care based on individualized plans and help residents with daily living activities.

The role requires a PA CNA training, a high school diploma, and at least two years of personal care experience; long-term care preferred. You will document changes, protect residents' rights and collaborate with the nursing staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of PA state-approved CNA training and competency program.
• Active listing on PA Nurse Aide Registry in good standing.
• Minimum 2 years of personal care experience; long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care to residents based on individualized care plans.
• Assist with activities of daily living including bathing, grooming, dressing, mobility, feeding, toileting, and hygiene.
• Support residents in maintaining dignity, independence, and quality of life.
• Accurately document care, changes in condition, and resident interactions.
• Promote resident rights, comfort, and safety in every interaction.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to observe, report, and respond to changes in resident condition.
