Job summary

Birchwood Terrace Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Burlington, VT seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, resident-centered care. You will support nurses and staff, assist residents with activities of daily living, and help with mobility and positioning according to care plans and policies.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• No disciplinary action in effect against certification.
• At least one year of experience as a CNA in long-term care.

Responsibilities

• Provides supportive services to nurse(s) and staff as needed.
• Assists residents with activities of daily living per care plans.
• Assists residents with lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transporting.
• Coordinates dining room services at meal times, setup, delivery, and documentation.
• Delivers nutritional supplements and tracks intake.
• Records weight and reports changes to nurse and supervisor.
