Job summary

Northeast Georgia Health System in Georgia seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct personal care and support to patients under the direction of the Registered Nurse, across infant to geriatric ages, per the individual plan of care.

The position requires current Georgia CNA certification, ability to assist with ADLs, observe safety protocols, document care within 24 hours, and work 8-hour morning shifts on site.

Qualifications

• Current Georgia Certified Nursing Assistant Certification.
• CNA license is acceptable as minimum educational requirement.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal care such as bathing, nail care, mouth care, as directed by the plan of care.
• Assists patients with ADLs and necessary self-help skills, keeping the environment neat and clean.
• Documents care rendered within 24 hours of visit with 95% accuracy per record review.
• Completes required in-service/education programs and participates in Performance Improvement activities.
