Elara Caring in Baton Rouge, LA, is seeking a dedicated Certified Nurse Aide to contribute to our home health team. You will provide compassionate, hands-on care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse and help patients with daily activities in their own homes.

Responsibilities include monitoring vitals, assisting mobility, following care plans, maintaining privacy, and safely reporting changes. Must have a state CNA or Home Health Aide certification, be able to lift up to 50 pounds, and

Qualificações

• Current State certificate as a Home Health Aide or Certified Nursing Aide certification.
• Ability to frequently lift, push, pull, and support up to 50 pounds.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation to travel between patient homes and locations.

Responsabilidades

• Provide hands-on personal care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.
• Assist patients with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and daily activities.
• Take and record vital signs, including temperature, pulse, respirations, and blood pressure.
• Help patients safely walk, transfer, and use mobility equipment.
• Follow each patient’s individualized care plan.
• Monitor and report changes in a patient’s condition to the care team.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable home environment.
• Remind patients to take medications as directed.
• Respond to emergencies and follow safety and infection control guidelines.
• Maintain patient privacy and participate in required training.
