Job summary

The ideal candidate holds a state-approved CNA program, is listed on the registry, and has a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Completion and passing of an approved Nursing Assistant program in the state.
• Listed on the state's Health Nursing Assistant Registry.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct daily care to residents.
• Assist with activities, light housekeeping, laundry, and dining services.
• Assist with bathing, dressing, hygiene, feeding and transfers.
• Maintain clean, orderly resident rooms and assist with linen changes.
• Assist with resident laundry and notify supervisor of needs.
• Prepare residents for meals and assist with meals and feeding.
• May cross-train in Assisted Living.
