Job summary

Pro Med Healthcare Services is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with experience in one-on-one behavioral care and detox settings in West Palm Beach, FL. You will supervise and support clients during detox and recovery, ensuring their safety and comfort.

In this role, you will monitor vital signs, assist with ADLs, provide medication reminders as directed, document care, and collaborate with licensed staff. A Florida CNA license and CPR/BLS are required.

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in Florida.
Minimum of 1 year experience in behavioral & detox care.
Experience providing one-on-one patient supervision.
Current CPR/BLS certification.
Knowledge of withdrawal symptoms and safety protocols.
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license.
Ability to pass background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one supervision and care for clients during detox and recovery.
Monitor vital signs and report withdrawal symptoms or changes in condition to supervising nurse.
Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs): bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting.
Support medication reminders as directed by licensed staff.
Ensure client safety and maintain a calm, structured environment.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Assist with light housekeeping and meal preparation in home settings.
Maintain accurate documentation of care provided.
