Job summary

SouthEast Alaska Regional Health Consortium (SEARHC) is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide essential nursing care in Acute Care/Long Term Care settings. The role requires a caring attitude, the ability to handle lifting of non-ambulatory patients, and ensuring a safe, clean environment. Ideal candidates will have a CNA certificate, a minimum of one year of experience, and strong communication skills. Qualifications

• Must have a CNA certificate from an accredited program.
• Current full, unrestricted CNA license in Alaska is required.
• 1 year prior experience as a CNA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide basic nursing care in Acute and Long Term Care.
• Assist with bedside care including lifting and turning patients.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment in patient areas.

Skills

Oral and written communication skills

Ability to work cooperatively

Competent in general nursing care

Education

High school diploma or equivalent

Basic Life Support

Clinical Competency every three years
