Job summary

Visiting Angels Tyler seeks a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate in-home care across East Texas, including Tyler and surrounding towns. The role emphasizes assisting with daily activities, mobility support, and personal care in clients' homes.

You will support seniors with light housekeeping, meal preparation, and transportation for appointments, with opportunities to train in dementia or Alzheimer's care to grow your skills.

Qualifications

• 2 Years Previous Caregiving Experience
• Valid Driver's License
• Vehicle with current Insurance
• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards
• Excellent knowledge of emergency response and first aid
• Respectful and compassionate
• Good time management skills
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong ethics
• Physical endurance

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medication
• Assist clients with ambulation and mobility
• Assist with personal care and hygiene
• Help with routine exercises
• Plan and prepare meals with client assistance
• Do the client's shopping or accompany them to shops
• Perform light housekeeping duties
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion
• Report any unusual incidents
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies
