Job summary

Visiting Angels Tyler is seeking an Experienced Caregiver to support East Texas seniors with compassionate care, mobility help, meals, and light housekeeping. The role offers growth through dementia/alzheimers training and ongoing education opportunities.

You will work with clients in their homes, providing dependable companionship and coordinated transport as needed, while maintaining safety and high standards of hygiene.

Qualifications

• Experience in home or elderly care is preferred.
• Must be committed to compassionate care for seniors.
• Includes responsibilities from mobility support to meal prep and housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Help clients take prescribed medications.
• Assist with ambulation and mobility around home and for appointments.
• Assist with personal care and hygiene.
• Support routine exercises.
• Plan and prepare meals with client input.
• Shop with or for clients as needed.
• Do light housekeeping tasks.
• Be a pleasant and supportive companion.
• Report unusual incidents promptly.
• Act quickly and responsibly in emergencies.
