Qualifications

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• State approved Nursing Assistant Certification
• Current BLS (CPR) certification
• 1 year CNA experience (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Provide and assist with physical care of patients including bathing, grooming, toileting, transfers, and mobility.
• Real-time documentation of patient care and observations.
• Communicate changes in patient condition to licensed nurse.
• Assist in dining: prepare for meals, serve trays, and monitor oral intake.
• Transport patients to scheduled therapy appointments.
• Assist in recreational, motivational and socialization activities.
• Respond promptly to call lights and provide appropriate care.
• Regularly round with patients to anticipate needs and ensure comfort.
• Maintain patient rights and report any abuse or safety concerns.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of patient rooms and environment.
• Adhere to infection control procedures and PPE usage.
