Job summary

The Belmont at Twin Creeks in Allen, TX is actively seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our compassionate healthcare team. This position offers flexible scheduling, hands-on patient care, and opportunities for growth in a supportive environment.

As a CNA, you will assist with ADLs, monitor patient condition, document care, and help ensure safety and dignity in a skilled nursing setting. Requirements include active CNA certification and the ability to lift and transfer patients.

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification required.
• Ability to lift, move, and transfer patients safely.

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding.
• Assist with patient transfers, ambulation, and repositioning using safe lifting techniques.
• Monitor, observe, and report changes in patient condition to the Charge Nurse.
• Accurately document patient care and daily activities in accordance with regulations.
• Support and follow individualized care plans to improve patient outcomes.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and infection-controlled environment.
• Ensure medical equipment and devices are clean, charged, and functioning properly.
• Participate in shift handoffs, team communication, and ongoing training.
• Follow all state, federal, and facility policies and procedures.
• Promote patient dignity, independence, and safety at all times.
