Job summary

Watertown Health Care Center in Watertown, WI is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to deliver direct patient care and support residents’ dignity and independence.

You will work as part of a tight-knit team across AM, PM, and NOC shifts, providing personalized attention, following care plans, documenting care, and upholding safety and infection-control practices in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a state-approved Nursing Assistant Certification program or equivalent.
• Must hold current Nursing Assistant Certification in the practicing state or be eligible to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality nursing care to residents supporting their rights, dignity and independence.
• Maintain comfort, privacy, and dignity; interact warmly to foster a caring environment.
• Follow care plans and report observations to nursing staff.
• Assist with grooming, bathing, feeding, toileting, and mobility as required.
• Ensure safety and report environmental issues to charge nurse or staff.
• Document care provided in CNA records and adhere to safety/infection control.
