Zarrow Pointe is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant to join our care team in Tulsa. The role involves providing daily living activities, assisting with mobility, and ensuring residents receive compassionate, patient-centered care.

The CNA will document care in Smart Charting, communicate with residents one-to-one, and support rehabilitation activities while maintaining safety and infection control standards. Flexible shifts cover weekdays, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Formación

• Must have completed a certified nurse aide course approved by the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
• Three to six months experience in nursing home or hospital preferred but not required.
• Must be eighteen years of age or older.
• Must be physically and mentally capable of performing the duties required.
• Must be able to move intermittently throughout the day.
• Must be able to speak, read, and write English.
• Must be able to cope with mental and emotional stress of the position.
• Must be able to see and hear, or use prosthetics to function adequately.
• Must be able to work independently, be flexible, have integrity, and work with residents and staff.
• Must be in good general health and demonstrate emotional stability.
• Must be able to relate to ill, disabled, elderly, and at times hostile people.
• Must be willing to work some weekends and some holidays.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.

Responsabilidades

• Provides activities of daily living: bathing, dressing, answering call lights, oral hygiene, toileting, and feeding.
• Charts in Smart Charting after care is provided.
• Communicates with residents one-to-one.
• Demonstrates sensitivity to residents' emotional, social and mental health needs.
• Take vital signs monthly and as requested by Charge Nurse.
• Assist residents in rehabilitation: walking, transfers, ROM exercises.
• Turns residents every two hours and records fluid intake; offers fluids every two hours.
• Responds to resident call lights promptly.
• Keeps water available and encourages hydration; documents intake.
• Measures and records intake/output and reports to Charge Nurse.
• Changes bed linens weekly and monitors skin condition.
• Maintains hygienic, safe resident personal areas and assists in bed positioning.
• Assists residents to and from dining and activities.
• Demonstrates proper responses to emergencies.
• Charting after toileting and incontinent care; three entries per shift.
• Completes cleaning, stocking and other tasks as assigned by Charge Nurse.
• Practices aseptic technique and infection control; uses No Lift policy.
• Provides privacy during personal care and assists with mobility and appointments.
• Attends in-service twice monthly and coordinates with on-coming shift.
