Job summary

Northbrook Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide direct, hands-on care and daily support to residents. You will ensure resident safety, comfort, and dignity while collaborating with the nursing team and care staff.

We offer competitive pay: $19 - $25 per hour with shift differentials for evenings and nights, along with benefits such as health insurance, a 401(k) match, PTO, and EAP. Part-time, full-time, and PRN schedules are available.

Qualifications

• Current state certification as a Certified Nursing Assistant CNA.
• Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care.
• Reliable attendance and ability to work as part of a team.
• Long-term care experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care as a Certified Nursing Assistant CNA, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance.
• Assist residents with safe transfers, ambulation, and use of mobility devices.
• Observe residents closely and report condition changes to nursing staff.
• Support meals, hydration, and feeding as needed.
• Promote resident dignity, comfort, and emotional well-being.
• Follow infection control, safety, and documentation standards.
