Job summary

Wisconsin Veterans Home at Chippewa Falls seeks Certified Nursing Assistants to provide compassionate, hands-on care for residents in a skilled nursing setting. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health data, and support therapeutic goals under the direction of licensed staff.

Role offers competitive hourly wages with shift differentials, generous PTO, benefits, and ongoing training. Multiple part-time and full-time shifts are available, including evenings and overnight

Qualifications

• Active CNA certification in Wisconsin.
• CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willing to obtain.
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred.
• Care that is person-centered, respectful, and timely.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, eating and ambulation.
• Respond promptly to call lights and care needs to ensure safety and comfort.
• Support independence and dignity per individual care plans.
• Accurately document vital signs, intake/output, weights and health data.
• Observe changes and report to licensed nursing staff.
• Assist with rehabilitative/restorative activities as directed.
