Job summary

Stanton-Nursing-Center in Kentucky is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to provide resident-centered care in alignment with Care Plans. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor residents, and document care actions.

Experience as LTC CNA or SRNA preferred; completion of State Approved NATCEP is required. Strong English communication and teamwork are essential, with flexible scheduling and potential for same-day pay.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate with residents and nursing staff.
• Completion of State Approved Nursing Assistant Training and Competency Evaluation Program.
• Good standing in the state nursing assistant registry.

Responsibilities

• Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom to determine needs and ensures call lights are reachable.
• Checks residents frequently if they cannot call for help.
• Provides direct care such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Explains procedures to residents and assists with activities of daily living.
• Assists with lifting, positioning, and transporting residents safely.
• Provides incontinent care and dresses residents per weather and needs.
• Notifies supervisor of changes in residents' conditions and documents care.
• Maintains cleanliness of residents' units and related areas.
• Records temperatures, vital signs, intake/output, and meal intake.
• Participates in nursing reports and attends in-services as required.
