Job summary

CommonSail Investment Group is seeking a part-time or PRN Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate, professional care for residents in Avon, IN. The role requires state-licensed CNA credentials and a focus on individualized assistance in daily activities.

The CNA will review care plans at shift start, assist with bathing, grooming and mobility, and support residents with meals while maintaining dignity and safety. Flexible scheduling and patient-centered care are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Must be licensed CNA in accordance with state laws.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Healthcare, geriatrics or elderly care experience preferred.
• Experience as a nursing aide preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and provide 1440 care.
• Review Resident Care Plans at start of shift.
• Bathe and clean residents by bed bath, shower or whirlpool.
• Assist with dental care, hair, nails, makeup and glasses.
• Assist residents in dressing and grooming.
• Make beds, change linens and keep rooms neat.
• Assist with meals, trays, snacks and feeding as needed.
• Respond to calls promptly and keep lights within reach.
• Assist with bedpan, urinal and bedside commode; change briefs as needed.
• Take vital signs and report abnormalities to nurse.
• Record intake/output and assist with specimen collection.
• Assist with mobility, transfers and ROM; use lifting devices when needed.
• Maintain residents' dignity and privacy; follow Resident Bill of Rights.
