Job summary

Riverside Health System in Williamsburg, VA is hiring a Certified Nursing Assistant to provide direct resident care, focusing on hygiene, safety, and nutritional needs while maintaining resident dignity.

Under the supervision of the Nursing Manager and Nursing staff, you will document care in EMR, support activities of daily living, and follow infection control standards; weekend shifts and irregular hours are required.

Qualifications

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with Virginia VDHP certification upon hire.
• CPR/BLS certification within 30 days.
• First Aid certification within 30 days.
• Prior CNA experience in long-term care/assisted living preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct resident care and maintain hygiene, appearance, safety, and nutritional needs.
• Assist with ADLs and ensure resident dignity and privacy.
• Document accurately in EMR (ADL care, personal hygiene, bowel and bladder habits, behaviors).
• Follow universal precautions and infection control standards of practice.
• Work under supervision of Nursing Manager, Supervisor, RN/LPN and Director/Assistant Director.
