Job summary

Riverside Health in Williamsburg, Virginia is seeking a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to support resident care under supervision of Nursing Manager and RN/LPN. The role includes assisting with personal hygiene, meal service, and activities while maintaining documentation and safety.

You will participate in care planning, advocate for residents, and help with daily household tasks. CNA certification, CPR/BLS, and First Aid are required or completed within 30 days as per policy.

Qualifications

• Experience Less than 1 year
• Prior Nurse Aide work experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Attends to all resident/guest personal hygiene and personal care needs.
• Organizes all supplies necessary to complete the tasks.
• Observes residents/guests closely, identifying changing needs and conditions and reports promptly.
• Follows infection control, sanitation and safety standards of practice.
• Demonstrates dependable and reliable attendance.
• Participates in care planning and acts as advocate in care plan.
• Assists residents with laundry and keeps spaces clean.
• Participates in meal preparation and service.
• Facilitates activities of residents' choice.
• Maintains documentation for caregiving, medications, and activities.
