Qualifications

• Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in good standing.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Ability to pass a Drug Screening.
• CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license (if applicable).
• Ability to lift, bend, stand, and assist clients safely.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including bathing, grooming, dressing, toileting, and mobility.
• Monitor and report changes in client condition to the supervising nurse or administrator.
• Take and record vital signs as required.
• Assist with transfers and ambulation using proper safety techniques.
• Provide compassionate companionship and emotional support.
• Assist with light housekeeping related to client care.
• Ensure a safe, clean, and supportive environment.
• Follow all care plans, agency policies, and state regulations.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation.
• Uphold client confidentiality and professional boundaries.
