Job summary

ComForCare in Annandale, VA is looking for a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to deliver hands-on in-home care. You’ll support clients in everyday activities with dignity and respect.

You’ll assist with ADLs, provide companionship, help with mobility and transfers, perform light housekeeping, and report changes promptly to the team. A supportive culture and weekly pay await the right candidate.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license required.
• Experience in home care, assisted living, or similar environments preferred.
• Strong understanding of non-medical caregiving boundaries and client safety.
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting and safe transfer techniques.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with clients, families, and team members.
• Compassionate, reliable, and committed to maintaining client privacy and dignity.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility).
• Provide companionship and social engagement.
• Support safe transfers and mobility with proper techniques.
• Perform light housekeeping and meal preparation.
• Observe and report changes to supervisors or family.
• Support clients living with dementia or memory-related challenges.
• Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or activities.
