Job summary

Blue Ridge Independence at Home is a Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE). We are seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our PACE Home Care team.

You will provide essential care and assistance to participants in their homes, helping maintain independence, comfort, and dignity. You will work closely with nursing staff to monitor conditions, support daily activities, and ensure a safe, respectful home environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Active CNA license in good standing and CPR certification required.
• Minimum one year working with older adults or complex care needs.
• Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations prior to direct participant contact.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, eating, toileting, hand and foot nail care).
• Support mealtime needs, including feeding assistance when necessary.
• Help with laundry and light household tasks to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Safely assist participants entering and exiting program vehicles.
• Monitor and report changes in participants’ conditions to nursing staff.
• Contribute to a positive, supportive home environment for each participant.
• Perform other care-related duties as needed.
