Job summary

Blue Ridge Independence at Home seeks a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant to join our PACE Home Care team. You will provide essential in-home care to participants, supporting independence, comfort, and dignity while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team.

Requires a high school diploma, an active CNA license, CPR, and a valid driver's license. Prior experience with older adults is preferred. We offer a mission-driven culture, flexible scheduling, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active CNA license in good standing with CPR certification.
• Minimum one year of experience caring for older adults or individuals with complex care needs.
• Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance, and reliable transportation.
• Medical clearance for communicable diseases and up-to-date immunizations prior to direct participant contact.

Responsibilities

• Assist participants with activities of daily living (bathing, dressing, grooming, oral care, eating, toileting, hand and foot nail care).
• Support mealtime needs, including feeding assistance when necessary.
• Help with laundry and light household tasks to maintain a clean, safe environment.
• Safely assist participants entering and exiting program vehicles.
• Monitor and promptly report changes in participants’ conditions to nursing staff.
• Contribute to a positive, supportive home environment for each participant.
• Perform other care-related duties as needed.

About The Role
