Job summary

Windsor Nursing and Rehabilitation Center of Weslaco is seeking a compassionate Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to join our in-person care team on a full-time basis. The 2:00pm – 10:00pm shift offers hands-on support with residents, ADLs, and routine tasks under RN/LVN supervision.

You will complete state-approved CNA training requirements, maintain accurate records, and help create a safe, respectful environment where residents live with dignity and comfort.

Qualifications

• Active Texas CNA certification (TULIP)
• Completion of a state-approved CNA program
• At least 16 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with ADLs (bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, toileting, transfers).
• Take and record vitals accurately; report changes to RN/LVN.
• Maintain accurate documentation per state and federal regulations.
• Observe resident condition and respond to needs promptly.
• Ensure a clean, safe living environment and proper infection control.
