Job summary

HMG Healthcare is seeking a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) to provide compassionate daily living support to patients in healthcare settings. The role emphasizes bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance while maintaining safety and dignity.

You will work closely with nursing staff to monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly. The CNA will document care activities, follow infection control protocols, and ensure accurate vitals monitoring.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Certified Nurse Assistant training program.
• Valid CNA certification/license as required by the state or local regulatory authority.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and patient care techniques.
• Ability to pass background checks and health screenings including immunizations.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare teams.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Monitor and record vital signs such as temperature, pulse, respiration, and blood pressure.
• Support patients with mobility needs, including transferring, repositioning, and ambulation.
• Provide nutritional support by assisting with feeding and ensuring patients receive proper hydration.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for patients by following infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with nursing staff regarding patient status, concerns, and changes in condition.
• Assist with basic medical procedures under the supervision of registered nurses or licensed practical nurses.
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely in compliance with healthcare regulations.
