Job summary

Boca Raton Rehabilitation Center in Boca Raton, FL seeks a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant to provide routine daily nursing care to residents according to their assessment and care plan.

You will identify residents, assist with meals and personal care, record progress, and communicate changes to the Nurse Supervisor. The role emphasizes compassion, accuracy, and safe handling of residents during transfers and examinations.

Qualifications

• Must possess, as a minimum, a 10th grade education.
• Must be a licensed Certified Nursing Assistant in accordance with laws of the state.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify residents using wristband or photo ID before administering treatments or meals.
• Record all entries accurately on flow sheets, charts, and notes.
• Report changes in residents' condition to the Nurse Supervisor/Charge Nurse promptly.
• Maintain confidentiality of resident information and report any unauthorized disclosures.
• Assist with daily resident activities, including transfers, positioning, and personal care.
• Observe for and report skin breakdowns or pressure areas to prevent complications.
